...a cheetah will eat you.
I would just like to take this oportunity to draw a line in the sand and say, "hey, I'm probably not going to join facebook."
There. I said it.
If you want to spy on me and think to yourself "I would never actually write, email, call, or even talk to Jon, but we shared some kind of local proximity once so I should totally add him on facebook," it's probably not going to happen.
You see, I've got this disorder called don't-like-to-conform-to-whatever-is-currently-popular-ittis. I am now 70% sure that Stafford G will comment in some effect to my condition.
Anyway, I just wanted to throw that out there... not that any of you facebookers will ever read this. Your just going to have to come find me at www.jonloch.com. Like I said, I'm probably not going to join facebook. Just like I didn't join Friendster or MySpace or SixDegrees.
Race you over to Orkut!

You're a dorkon.
I feel compelled not to comment now that you've fingered me out on this subject. So consider this a non-comment.
Sweet. Apparently d-l-t-c-t-w-i-c-p-ittis may be contagious.
Props to the "dorkon" comment... however, I think that Bethany is probably just as bad as Jon in her case of d-l-t-c-t-w-i-c-p-ittis! Ha!
So.... I don't get it.... Are you going to join facebook?
:P
I know what you mean! Everyone keeps asking if I've joined facebook yet, as if it's just a natural part of life. Like, "have you seen that new movie yet?", "have you paid your taxes yet?", or "OH MY GOD! you drank 10 Litres of water, haven't you gone to the bathroom yet?". Some part of me thinks that it would be neat to find some people I knew a while ago, but facebook will just die out in a few months or so like every other tech craze. Plus then I might not have the same enjoyment when I happen to bump into people in the real world that I was friends with in Grade 9 or so (which happened the other day).
Dude you should totally join facebook. Forget friend finding, there's an awesome discussion group called "End of Religion", hosted by Bruxy and there's alot of good discussions happening there. We would be honored to have your insights on the threads there.
well played Gregg - play to his weakness and feed his egotistical mind!
Facebook... makes me think of a Bill Plympton cartoon.
